Frequently Asked Questions
What is Kidoly for?
Kidoly is for parents planning kids’ birthdays and events. It gives
you one place for invites, RSVPs, and details, so you’re not juggling
group chats and spreadsheets.
How do I invite guests?
Create the event and share its link. Anyone with the link sees only
the basics: title, description, date and time, your name, your
child’s first name, and the cover photo. People who want to join send
a request, and you approve or decline it. The address, guest list,
what to bring list, and wishlists open up only to guests you
approve.
Do guests need to download the app?
Yes. The invite link opens a preview anyone can see, but everything
else happens in the app: answering your questions, claiming an item
from the what to bring list, picking a gift from a wishlist. It’s a
free download, and a guest can be set up and replying in about a
minute.
Is Kidoly free?
Yes, completely free.
Can I track RSVPs?
Yes. Every event has a guest list showing who’s going, who’s
pending, and who declined. Each request comes with the guest’s
answers to your questions, so you approve or decline with the context
in front of you. If someone withdraws later, the list updates
automatically.
Who can see our event?
Anyone with the link sees only the basics: the event name,
description, cover photo, date and time, your name, and your child’s
first name. No last name, no address. Everything else stays hidden
until you approve someone.
Can I update event details after sending invites?
Yes. Edit the event whenever you need to, whether it’s the time, the
place, or the lists. Approved guests always see the latest version.
Is my child’s information safe?
Only your child’s first name appears on the event link, never a last
name, and never an address. Wishlists, the guest list, and every
other detail open up only to guests you approve.
